Question GPU Black Screen

Hi all,

Im having a problem with my MSI 1060 graphics card.

when I install the graphics card I’m greeted with a black screen, the monitor recognises there’s a video source, but just shows a black screen.

I can boot up fine with the integrated graphics, any ideas how to make the GPU work?

PC specs,

Gigabyte z97p-d3 Motherboard
I5 4690k CPU
Corsair cx750m PSU
1tb HDD
16 gigabytes Ram
Msi 1060 GPU

did you try to use the 1060 gpu with generic driver from os and see what happens .

I’ve recently installed a fresh windows 10. What do you mean by generic driver?
