So I just finished building my new computer and was wondering if a GTX 780 ti will bottleneck an i7 3770k or the other way around. I don't think it will, but some extra confirmation is always helpful. Thanks!
If you are talking about gaming, then neither component can be said to "bottleneck" the other. The CPU is more than sufficient for pretty much every game ever released to this point and will continue to be for the forseeable future. The 780 Ti will crush any game at 1080p. It might struggle at higher resolutions (like triple 1080p or 4k) but in those circumstances every single-GPU setup is going to struggle.
It will be fine. They will work well together. One component maybe slightly faster than the other depending on the game maybe but enough so you will notice.
Your FPS will be very high. Happy gaming
