I woke up this morning to my pc being unable to boot. As the VGA light was on, i assumed my GPU card was burned, and took it out.
I was able to boot and do a system restore right away, and all seemed well.

I decided however, to give my gpu one last try and put it back in, and right now it seems to be working just fine. Do you think this was a one time deal, or am i on borrowed time with this card?

I have:
intel i5 6500
16 GB ram
R9 380 NITRO 4gb
MSI B150M mortar
Seasonic S12II bronze PSU

Edit: i'm sorry if this is in the wrong place. I just wrote it in the box in the sidebar and it didn't ask for a subforum. Please feel free to move this as i'm sure i cannot :)

Solution
If it happens again after it's been reseated then I would try another PCIe slot if available. If that doesn't help, consider replacing the graphics card.
Hmm weird. I definitely don't have it overclocked, and it was seated the same way for about a year. I guess i'll keep my eye out for other signs that it's going bad.

Would rather it crashes before the warranty expires X(
