I've been trying to find a thread that I saw that had recommendations for upgrading older video cards - the basic layout was Nvida and Radeon cards arranged according to capability and the recommendation was that you upgrade when there was a "gap" of three cards.
FYI - I'm temporarily "recycling" a 9600GT from an older computer in a new build. I had built one and my wife basically said "well, that's mine, build your own :lol: ." So we now have two newer computers. "My" build
