[SOLVED] GPU Caught Fire?

My Zotac 2080ti Amp started smoking real bad and burn/caught on fire as shown. Any idea what could cause this?! I didn't have any game running at the time and I was just doing regular workstation work (3 displays). The Motherboard is an asus deluxe ii x299 motherboard. I'm running at 1500w gold PSU.

Looks like it either shorted on the power deliver side of the pci-e slot or tried to pull too much power from the slot. I'd hazard to guess that the pci-e slot it was in is now toast aswell.

Internal shortcut on GPU (fatal failure), metal grains getting into the pcie slot, etc. Not possible to tell just by watching a picture.

Does it matter if the computer was running for at least an hr before it happened?
