Question GPU causes monitors to black screen when overclocking

Everytime i overclock my gpu it black screens, ive tried giving it extra voltage, only overclocking the core and not the memory, all of the above. but it black screens each time. specs listed below, theyre shit for the time being because i only buy things when ive saved double the price of it for safety.

CPU: 5800x
MOBO: MSI Mag b550 tomahawk
Ram: 16gb 3200mhz
GPU: MSI 1650 OC
PSU: Corsair 650w (cant remember the rating, drc)

should be all the specs that matter.

What are you using to overclock the video card?

Though in all honesty, I'm not finding any reason to spend a lot of effort overclocking the card unless you're trying to make it to the top of a leaderboard or something for craps and laughs.
