Question GPU causing PC to crash

My PC started randomly crashing when playing games after 30min - 1 hour. I removed all my hardware and cleaned it, but the same thing is happening. When running stress tests on CPU everything was fine. But when I ran it on my GPU it crashed after about 30min.
Setup:

• Motherboard: ASRock z97M Pro4
• CPU: Intel Core i5-4690k
• Ram: Corsair Vengeance 2 x 4GB DDR3
• GPU: Gigabyte Geforce GTX 960 WIndforce 2GB OC
• PSU: Corsair CX 600W Modular

The PC crashes, and has to cooldown for about 15min, I have to remove the power cable and reset the PSU before it starts up again.

Are these crashes due to a faulty GPU or PSU?

How old is your PSU? The CX series wasn't known for it's quality, rather the lack of it. Check the temps on the GPU.

My PSU is 4 years old. My GPU never went above 80 degrees celsius.
