Question GPU choice for Deep Learning ?

Hello everyone,

I want to change my graphics card to speed up my work in deep learning (no gaming). I do research and development in deep learning.

My current config:

• CPU: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2950X 16-Core Processor, 3500 MHz
• GPU: GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
• Motherboard: MSI MEG X399
• RAM: 64 GB

My budget: $9,000-9,500 .

I had the idea of taking a Tesla (T4, K80, P4, P100, V100) but I think my budget is relatively low. Should I consider a lower end model?
I don't know if I can combine the GTX 1080 Ti with a new card (Tesla or not) but it would be interesting to have your opinion, especially on possible compatibility issues (motherboard - cpu - gpu).
