GPU clock speed drop and voltage drop, casing huge fps drop, help!

I just repasted my ASUS ROG GL502VS laptop today, main specs are:
CPU - I7 6700HQ
GPU- GTX1070
Memory - 32GB

I've tested my laptop for a whole afternoon and here is the issue I've found so far:

After a short period of gaming, FPS starts dropping to below 30 for a few seconds periodically, GPU-Z monitor told me that when the FPS drops, voltage drops to 0.75V and GPU clock speed drops below base clock.

However, my temps are better after the repasting job, despite there is a ignorable amount of thermal paste spilled out of GPU, and I've tried everything on the software, reinstall NVidia drive, reinstall the games, nothing worked so far, any idea what is happening here? I'd be happy to give any further information if needed.

Okay, turns out I was being dumb, the heat sink was not placed properly, problem solved.
