[SOLVED] gpu clock speeds random drops

so i have a gtx 1060 and i am getting random drops in the memory clock speeds
while at desktop or playing games, reinstalling the drivers with a clean install checked stops it for a bit but it comes back this has been happening for about a month and is getting worse i am at a lost as to how to fix this or is the card junk and i should just get a new one?

Maybe try older versions of the drivers? But it could be a card issue. Is it still on warranty?

Your card probably has thermal throttling so just don't overclock the card or put the fans at 100% using MSI afterburner and make sure your case has great airflow.

card runs at 55c under load stock settings no overclock im using HWMonitor and it states nothing in the computer is over 55c and no its not under warranty its a few years old
