GPU Compatibility for my build

I have a EVGA 500 watt PSU, AMD athlon x2 220 processor, 8gb ram, a m4a78lt-m motherboard and a fractal design core 1000 case. Will the gtx 760 be compatible with my build? I know there will be bottlenecking but I plan to upgrade my proccesor in the future.

should be, 960 might be better as it has a lower power requirement.
