I am planning to upgrade my graphics card and wondering if it is worth to put GTX 1060 in my setup. Following are my PC specs specs. Thank you in advance

CPU: AMD FX-6300
Board: Gigabyte 970-Gaming
RAM: 24Gb DDR3 1600
And An 480 gb Scandisk ssd

Currently GPU I got Asus Radeon R7 370 4GB

Solution
The 1060 is not a huge improvement over the 970. I would rather update your CPU/MB/RAM combo.

EDIT: You could also look for a used 3-4th gen Intel CPU/MB combo to take advantage of your RAM.

Well, that all depends on what GPU he currently has, no?

If his current GPU is bottlenecking that FX, it may well be worth upgrading the GPU first, and the platform later.

Thats why I asked what his gpu was, as my first question...

Mister, you're making no sense here. This is about whether OP should upgrade his platform or his GPU first.

Of course, if he buys a 1060, a platform upgrade is due next, but before he does, we can't say anything without knowing his current GPU.
In your first post you said he should upgrade the platform first, no matter what GPU he currently has, which is what I disagree with.

Thats fine, we don't all have to agree.

The only reason I asked this question to community is, my current graphics card is giving me problems and I have some money saved up on which i can buy MSI 1060 Gaming X 6gb. So I was thinking if i buy 1060 now how well it will work with my current rig and then later on i will change my cpu/mobo/ram.

The problem I am having is that in every few minutes my screen will flicker for a second, there is no problem with screen as i connected the xbox and it wont flicker. but with my pc it flickers, i tried everything then i came to the conclusion that graphics card is stuffed.

What kind of cable are you using to display on the monitor? Same one as you used on the xbox?

For both I was using HDMI.
