fast question>>... i can put GTX 970 with CPU core i5-2500 i read that GPU need core i7
i want someone to tell me if GTX 970 compatible with core i5-2500

You should be just fine with that current setup.
You dont need an i7 for a 970, and even though your i5 is old it should be enough.

They will work.
If a 6300 can keep up with a 970, your 2500 can.
