My Brother has the MSI FM2-A55m-E33 which is a Micro-ATX board and he currently has a Sapphire Radeon HD 7770. It's a decent build for a easy going PC gamer and doesn't play much other than Minecraft and a few other easy going games. He wants to upgrade the GPU but when I was building his PC I came across a problem. The GPU runway ran right into the SATA ports on the board. The GPU (HD7770) is a small card itself compared to some other like my GTX 980. I was wondering if I need to purchase a new motherboard for him to upgrade his GPU. (For example if I put my card into his system I believe that my 980 will cover his SATA ports and he wont be able to add a new card into it without purchasing a new motherboard.)
It means a lot and with Christmas coming here soon I need to know so I can make my little bro's Christmas a bit more cooler
Thanks
