Asus Sabertooth Z97 Mark S motherboard ?

You'll be able to drop the GPU in question onto your motherboard's first PCIe slot though my question is what sort of a processor do you have paired with the motherboard? make and model of your PSU and it's age? What are you working with discrete GPU wise as of this moment?

i have an i7-4790k and a Super Flower 850w PSU.
GPU-wise right now i have a GTX 980 8GB.
I'm not sure of the age of the PSU though.

If u think that is a bad choice i can also go for this one:

The problem is I'm on a limited budget so i don't have a lot of good options.

What sort of budget are we talking? RX6600 is a faster than a GTX1080 8GB and is quite cheap. Sometimes the 6650XT is available for nearly the same price which is faster than the 5700XT.

5700XT is the far better choice over a Vega64.
