I am currently using a GIGABYTE 78LMT-S2PT motherboard with AMD FX-4300 3.8GHz CPU and a R9 270X 2GB GPU. As you can see this is an all AMD configuration. I am thinking about getting MSI 970 motherboard and also buy a high end GPU. GTX 970 4Gb edition,GTX 1060 mini 6GB edition and R9 380X 4GB are my options.
The main things I need to know is which one of these 3 GPUs will be the the best and will that be compatible with my current and future motherboard ?
I have VS650 PSU,8GB of memory with 2 1TB HDD and 1 250GB SSD

Solution
the GTX 1060 is the best GPU amongst those.
It is compatible with both current MB and your planned MB.
Though i don't really understand investment in MB for your build.

Then you are suggesting I should keep my current MB and buy a 1060?

What monitor do you use ?
Unless you use 1080p@144Hz it is not important.
If you have a 1440p or higher res monitor, it is not important.
The "bottlenecking" thing will prevent the card to go to the very high FPS on 1080p, not the image quality.
Yes in some games you might lose a couple of frames. Just get a decent cooler and overclock the CPU.
At some point, (next spring) might be a good time to consider a CPU upgrade since both AMD and Intel releasing new generations this winter.
