Question GPU core clock drops ?

When gaming I will inexplicably get FPS drops. I downloaded MSI afterburner and can see that the core clock will randomly drop from around 1200 mhz down to as low as 37 mhz. I am not sure why, my GPU when gaming never gets above 45 degrees celsius and I have the power limit set to plus 10. Thank you

1200MHz? A 5600XT should be boosting quite a bit higher than that, and 37MHz is even lower than an idle state.

What are you doing at the time? If only in game, is it cutscenes or anything? Or just random?

just random during a game, no specific times

Any chance you can try and enable xmp or DOCP standard for your ram in Bios? Looks like it's running at 2133mhz vs 3200.

The game you're playing, is that loaded on the HDD or SSD?

I checked bios XMP was off, I turned it on an looks like any hitches are gone. I know for a fact I had enabled it in the past which is weird but whatever thanks. I still have to play someone to be 100% sure that the issue is gone but thank you, all!
