What ryzen cpu should you pair a r9 270 with to avoid bottlenecking? is a ryzen 3 1200 a good choice?
That's what I was concerned about. If the BIOS on that motherboard has been updated to version P3.60 or newer, the Ryzen 3 1200 processor may no longer be compatible and (according to the BIOS download page) you cannot flash it back to an earlier version.it’s an asrock b450m pro4
My budget is under 100 $ so it’s pretty tight and that’s the cheapest ryzen I could find regarding how old the gpu is it’s from 2013 so it’s pretty old so I assume any ryzen would work fine whiteout bottleneckingYou could choose a ryzen 3 1200 if you are on a tight budget, it's a good CPU, but it depends, what's your budget for the CPU?
I believe you should get a better CPU, to make it more future proof, in case you want to change your gpu in the future.
For sure, well, in that case, this cpu seems to be a good option for your budget. My budget is under 100 $ so it’s pretty tight and that’s the cheapest ryzen I could find regarding how old the gpu is it’s from 2013 so it’s pretty old so I assume any ryzen would work fine whiteout bottlenecking
