20 amps on a single 12V rail, or 20 amps combined total on all 12V rails?

There may be more than one 12V rail listed.

If there is only one, then you're only getting 240 watts on the 12V rail, which seems very low for what I assume is a 500W power supply.

Can you give the full model number, or a photograph of the specifications label on the PSU?
