[SOLVED] GPU & CPU Usage are roughly the same ?

When I play Battlefield 5 for example, my CPU and GPU Usage are roughly the same which is causing my game to stutter a lot making the game feel almost unplayable. I had no issues with my old GPU (An RX 570 4gb) but when I upgraded to a RTX 2060 I get these issues. I've seen videos on YouTube with benchmarks with my CPU (Ryzen 7 2700x) and GPU (RTX 2060) together on Battlefield 5 and they had no issues. I'm not sure what's going on but hopefully someone can help me with this.

Thanks.

Specs:
CPU: Ryzen 7 2700X
GPU: RTX 2060
RAM: 16GB 3000Mhz
Storage: 500GB NVME & 2TB HDD

Hey there,

In the pic you provided, The usage for CPU/GPU are different, 62/73%, but still that's kinda low for the GPU, but about right for that CPU. What settings are you running? Anything over high and it should be running at 98-99% on GPU usage normally.

However, look at your ram usage. It's maxed out. This most certainly could be causing stuttering. What tasks have you running in the background? My system ram usage is typically about 10-12gbs on BV 5, with no other tasks really running other than MSI OSD.

Thanks for your reply,

My settings are set to high and I've also tried to put more pressure on the GPU by turning Ray Tracing on but the usage doesn't really change. With the RAM situation, I have a few programs open like: Steam, Spotify and Wallpaper Engine etc. I have found a solution I guess by using Razer Cortex's Booster that helps to give me some of my RAM back and that's helped a ton. I'm not really getting any stuttering issues anymore.

I agree that the RAM is probably what was causing the stuttering, but not too sure why my GPU usage is unusually low.

Thanks again for replying.
