Hi everyone!

I use Chrome as my default browser and had no problems for years, but for close to a week now my GPU crashes everytime I watch something in Fullscreen. It doesnt always happen instantaneously but it always does happen. The screen goes black, cursor still visible but not movable, keyboard inputs show no affect and after a few seconds I get relogged into Windows with my GPU disabled (Code 43). After a restart everything works fine again. Cant reproduce this error on any other browser (tried Edge, Firefox and Opera). I tried different drivers for my GPU from old to latest, doesnt seem to make a difference. I tried disabling Widevine Content Decryption Module and Adobe Flash in Chrome plugins but still no change. I tried some high demanding video games but they all ran fine.
Google couldnt help either so I am hoping someone here can :)

My System:
Windows 10 Home x64
i7-6700k
GTX 970
16GB Ram
Chrome Version 52.0.2743.116 m

Thank you all in advance

Christian

Solution
I disabled hardware acceleration in the advanced Chrome settings and it seems to do the trick. I'll keep monitoring the issue and update if necessary but for now i think it is fixed.
