Question GPU Crashes / Freezes randomly at times

So its a weird issue: My pc just freezes up sometimes when I start my pc. It freezes up in a way in which I can't do anything anymore and have to restart the pc using the power button. But usually after 1 or 2 restarts everything works normally and it doesnt freeze anymore. One time there was a bluescreen when it crashed and I managed to take a picture of what it said: "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESSS_OR_EQUAL" and the cause of the problem was "nvlddmkm.sys". I have a rtx 2070 super and use the cable mod vertical pci-e bracket which might do something about it. Yes my drivers are up to date and I think this is a gpu issue because when it crashes while watching youtube I still can hear the audio and sometimes its not really a crash but the screen turns black for a second and then on again.

How much memory do you have? Try using on stick at a time to see if you have a bad stick.

did you try the gpu without the bracket first and see if you use os generic driver you have this issue .

I have 16gb ddr4 3200mhz ram

I haven't tried that I will the next time when I have some time on my hands, thanks. I'll get back to this thread and say if it worked.
