I have a 1060 GPU and everytime after updating, it crashes after a few minutes in-game. I've found a bandage solution for it by installing older versions of the GPU but a few games require a new updated version to play. I can't find the solution to this problem. Help!

You could try giving it a little more voltage, or under-clock it a bit. Use MSI afterburner.

Most crashes are the result of the GPU not happy with how fast it's being asked to run, and newer drivers tend to ask for more to improve performance....if your GPU is right on it's operating limit, crashes are likely to occur. So, but increasing the voltage 50-100mv you're giving it more power to try and get the job done, but this will make it run hotter. The other option of under-clocking (maybe 100-200 MHz) puts less stress on the GPU and reduces crashes.
