Question Gpu crashing

Hi so my pc was working fine. I took gpu from my friend . (We switched ) I know that his gpu was working good in his pc . And when I put it in my pc when it gets to windows the gpu turns off and on screen is showing no signal.
i reinstalled fresh windows on my ssd. Same issue .
i can only enter my pc in safe mode .
can anyone help me

Was your system working fine before the swap?
What the rest of your system specs? CPU, RAM, MB, PSU
Did you plug in the extra power connector for the GPU?
What did you give your friend for the RX 470?
