I have this wierd issue when gaming that my gpu crashes, my screens go black and the gpu fans start spinning at 100%. I found that if I open EVGA presicion and turn the power setting up to max (112%) it works fine. I'm not sure why the gpu isn't working correctly at base power settings.

GPU:EVGA 2070 super
PSU: Corsair rm750 watt.

This might be more of a driver issue than hardware, IMHO. You could try and use DDU to uninstall your existing GPU drivers, then reboot and manually reinstall your GPU drivers with the latest sourced from Nvidia's support site. You're advised to install the drivers in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

As for your power concerns, how old is the PSU in your build? Any overclocks on the GPU?
