Hello,
So for the last couple months my GPU was acting up. Random screen freezes when playing a game, or random computer crashes. Since last week however it would just shutdown a few seconds after loading up a game. Whenever I opened up any game the screen would instantly go black and my computer would restart. I did a stress test and it failed. As soon as I clicked the "go" button on the stress test software the computer just went black and restarted. I chalked it up to a bad GPU. I went out and bought a new GPU. Is there anything I need to do when installing a new GPU?

Thank You.
Shawn

Both of them are GTX, but the old is PNY and the New one is Gigabyte.
not sure on make of my old gpu, but the new one is GtX 1060
I plugged in my new one and everything started up normally. My home screen was already in 1080 Resolution. MY Geforce software already told me to install the new drivers.
I ran a stress test and no computer crashes so far.

Is that it then? nothing special like when I installed my first GPU?
