Even the 1650 models with a PCIe power connector tend to be around 10% slower than a 1060 3GB on average, while the ones without them, like this model, tend to be another 10% or so slower still, so not exactly "roughly equal" in performance. In all, a 1060 3GB will typically be around 20-25% faster than this card. And remember, the 1060 3GB came out 4.5 years ago at a $200 MSRP. I suppose having a little more VRAM with the 1650 will likely be beneficial in some newer games, but the 1650 was a fairly mediocre card when it launched for $150 nearly 2 years ago, and I'd hardly call paying $10 over MSRP for it much of a "GPU deal"....and performance roughly equal to the GTX 1060 3GB
