Question GPU Device Manager Issue not accepting NVIDIA drivers

System Specs:
Ryzen 7 2700
16 gb ddr4 g.skill ram
1200 watts corsair psu
MSI "Afterburner" GTX 680 2gb

My GPU shows up in task manager but it has a yellow error message next to it that it isn't responding. I tried reinstalling newer drivers after using ddu to remove my current drivers. The drivers would say "installation complete" but when right clicking on my desktop there still won't be an nvidia control panel and my resolution is capped at 1280x1024. Which I assume means that my gpu isn't picking up the drivers. I did the same process again but with an older drive, the result was the same. I then resorted to watching a youtube video where someone updated their gpu rom in order to get their drivers to working. Now the part I'm stuck on is what rom file should I use to flash my gpu bios. However, if there's another solution to this that I don't know about, any help is appreciated

Most likely a failing GPU.

To find vbios:

download GPU z
Lookup the model

Find that model here
download one of the appropriate ones for your model.

These are my gpu-z info on my gtx680

Would the boxed option be the one I'm looking for. Also what indicator might it be that the gpu is failing now? It was running games fine yesterday for me.
