GPU Dilemma Should i wait for 300 series ?

There are articles that came out this week, and the expected release date is june.
I wanted to upgrade my graphics card by the end of this month(was gonna buy gtx 970), but then i read about the 300 series from Amd and i now am confused and not sure what to do. I can definitely wait till june, but i dont want to wait for a bad referance card, Soo is the 3xx worth waiting for , or should i just go buy the 970??

If you're gaming in 1080P,then the GTX 970 will last you long.
However, I would wait until the 300 series are released,and when the reviews and benchmarks are out, thats when you decide whether to buy the 970 or the 300 series.

the 300s are supposed to be more efficient, so even a reference card shouldn't be a problem really

AMD claims it will be efficient,but we still didnt know whether it will be efficient as the Maxwell and in terms of power consumption per performance ratio.(hoping for a big efficiency gains from them though )
