AMD really shouldn't have "F-series" in their vocabulary.
I understand why AMD would copy Intel's meaningless/nonsense naming schemes when they're way behind and desperate for sales as a cheap knockoff.
But AMD is in the lead in desktop gaming performance, multithreaded performance, and for the most part efficiency. AMD needs to stop acting like a copycat and be a leader, for once. Stop stealing other companies stupid names, and come up with your own (preferably less) stupid names.
It's not like Intel's numbering scheme was good or particularly understandable, even when it was popular.
I think Lunar Lake's utter failure to establish branding or customer demand/recognition for their "Ultra V-series" chips is a strong demonstration that Intel's marketing department has been coasting for decades, and doesn't actually have the slightest idea how to sell or even differentiate their products.
