Hey guys, thanks in advance to anyone that replies to this thread! My computer has been randomly having issues that I believe to be non-related to each other, so hopefully it's ok to make one big thread about it.
First Issue:
Usually noticed when launching Rocket League (maybe another game, too) but very, very intermittently my monitor will disconnect and state there is no signal to the GPU. To fix this, I simply put my computer to sleep via keyboard shortcuts and then turn it back on, and the connection is reinstated. This isn't a big deal, but is definitely annoying and I'm not sure what the issue could be.
Second Issue:
This one just started happening about a day ago. But when starting my computer (Windows 10 on my SSD), it takes about 9 seconds according to task manager to boot from bios. However, prior to yesterday my computer took about 2 seconds to boot up from bios. When turning on my computer, it basically just hangs at a black screen (back light on and monitor connected) after showing the bios splash screen. Is there a way to see whats causing this hang in between bios and windows loading up?
Third Issue:
My secondary hard drive (2/3, does not have windows on it, only games and clients) will get stuck at 100% disk usage when I first start my computer, which in turn makes everything else pretty slow. It didn't used to do this, and I'm a bit confused as to why it's doing this because it was recently formatted and basically only has games on it now, so I'm not sure what process is causing this. Is there a way to see what processes are happening on this drive? When going to task manager, I can only seem to get it to monitor my main SSD which has windows on it, and when using Resource Monitor I can't seem to find where to switch which drive it monitors.
PC Specs:
GPU: GeForce GTX 970 (MSI) on driver 388.13 (most recent)
CPU: i7-2700k @3.5GHz
RAM: 16gb @1866mhz
Monitor: Asus ROG Swift PG278Q
SSD (windows with some games and steam on it): 128gb Crucial M2
HDD 1: 1tb WD Black (games and other random programs only, no programs that launch at startup)
HDD 2: 1tb WD Black (games and other random programs only)
Any help is greatly appreciated, as I can't seem to figure out what is going on here.
