GPU doesnt work, without GPU horizontal lines come to my monitor (flickering)

yesterday when i got bored of my small table i shifted my cpu to the floor and i was playing csgo.
It was working till this moment
My room looked messed up so i restored it back to the table.
Then my pc didnt turn on.
I had fans on mouse led on but keyboard wasnt on.
I tried taking out every part and reconnecting after some time keyboard lit back up.
But no display.
I took out my GPU(GT 710) and used stock vga port to run.
And it booted My monitor worked.
But it had horizontal lines flickering around.
When i plugged gpu back in no display.

My Specs:
GT 710
Core 2 duo
4 GB UNKNOWN RAM
STOCK PSU THAT CAME WITH MY CASE

Two things come to mind.

Monitor flickering: may depend on monitor settings and requires recalibration.

No display: you don't mention plugging the display cable into the graphics card afterwards. At the very least rule that issue out.

There is more that i just found out while trying to plug the gpu back in the system took three tries to boot but no display.
Without gpu the monitor flickers + contrast is very dark or something like that.
Either my gpu died or cable is damaged (my guess)

Trying out the new cable within 3-4 days (online purchase)

Certainly possible the graphics card is at fault.

Also thinking a power delivery issue but that depends on the PSU you have.

I guess there is a problem wire or mobo maybe cuz thats alot of flickering with really dark looking display
After some time found out that it took several tries to boot up properly.
And contrast changes with resolution mostly 4:3 are darker but 16:9 are dark too
Monitor is in the defaults the same problem is also in bios(contrast)

I would still wonder about the monitor. If it can be checked with a known good output then it would rule out the monitor being faulty. (Something which hasn't been ruled out as far as I'm concerned.)

Have you performed basic checks like components being properly seated? A knock could have caused something to become loose.

What is suspicious is a faulty graphics card shouldn't affect the integrated graphics. On that note, what are the rest of your PC specs? (If possible you could use something like Speccy to find out.) I suspect you have a motherboard with a GPU on it.

It seems like the cable was broken hence it was easily fixed when the new one arrived
