[SOLVED] GPU Driver crashing causing black screen

Components:
GPU: AMD Rx580
CPU: I7 9700k
Motherboard: Asus Z390
PSU: EVGA 650w Bronze
16gb xpg ram

So when playing almost any game or watching YouTube and playing a game when too many pixels or too many things go on at once my computer will either black screen but i can still hear for a minute or it will slow down the computer so much where even after closing the game it will act as if it was on 1 fps( when this happens AMD gives me a warning saying my display driver crashed). I just recently replaced every part in my computer except my gpu I'm wondering if my CPU is bottlenecking something or I read that my CPU and motherboard could not be compatible. I've tried everything out there and I'm just wondering if this very old gpu is the problem.

Your CPU is compatible, and definitely not a bottleneck. Most likely your issues are that sub par quality PSU, or the graphics card itself.

If i was going to buy a 20 series gpu do you have a recommended psu?

Depends on which 20 series. A 2060 can get by with a quality 550w, but a 2080ti can easily bump that up to 750w.
