GPU Driver Crashing

Lately I have experienced a really annoying problem where my graphics driver crashes and then restarts. It happens sometimes when I am watching flash videos, but it happens most frequently and regularly when I am playing Bioshock Infinite.

My computer specs are
i5-3570K CPU overclocked to 4.0GHz
GTX 660Ti
8GB RAM
550W SeaSonic Power Supply

Also, sometimes when I have Chrome open my CPU load will shoot up really quickly and my computer will freeze and unfreeze really quickly.

Could anyone please help me with these two issues? Thanks.

set the CPU back to stock clocks and reinstall all the drivers.

Thanks you for the swift response, I tried your solution and it didn't help with the Bioshock Infinite crashes, my GPU driver still crashes and comes back.

have you tried uninstalling the game and then see what happens?

I will try that. Just to make a note, I don't really remember the issue happening with any other games. It doesn't happen on Skyrim when I play it with high settings. Could it just be the game itself?

im not sure because i never experienced driver problems ever.

also, do you happen to have lucidlogix mvp turned on? that caused MW3 in my case to not start up properly
