that was on 100% load and i use it since october 2020 so it's new...That's high. my gpu shuts my pc down when it reaches 70.
However I changed the thermal paste, used a different heatsink and now it never goes above 40. ok it's winter now. but anyways in summer it will stay well below 60.
was 81c your max under stress. will it go higher under heavier load? it's already high, so I'm skipping a gpu stress test.
how long have you been using it? if it's been 2 years, thermal paste have dried. change it with some good paste. Thermalright's TF8 is a Taiwanese brand that makes 13.8 wmk pastes. That's higher than Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut's 12.5 wmk.

My gpu was making funny colors on monitor too. Never happened after I changed its diapers. been working smoothly for 5~6 months.
