So,what my problem is is,whenever my gpu is going up in temps , the fan WILL eventually hit the correct speed and chill the gpu , but will take a long time to adjust resulting in gpu high temps for a while and framedrops.Same goes when dropping temperature , the gpu can instantly drop to 40 degrees and the fan will still keep going full force and then really slowly slow down , resulting in annoying sound. My card is an Rx 480 and the problem is with wattman . any help?

You should have software that came with your GPU or that you can download from he supplier that will allow you to set the arc on the fans yourself so it ramps up to cool when you want it too.

What model GPU do you have ? (Asus, Gigabyte e.t.c)
