I have a 3 gb gtx 760 192 bit oem gpu. After opening up the case, I can see that the fan has become completely detached from the shaft. I was researching on repairs but to no reliable answer. I see some people posting about using super glue, but it would seem most people would disagree; instead, they recommended using arctic silver epoxy. I'm not tech savvy here, so what should I do? Of course last resort buy a new card.

Any brand epoxy resin will do tbh, it will give a stronger bond than super glue. (most diy/hardware stores sell it and usualy requires you to mix to gether the resin and a hardner, both come together in a pack)

Whoops! So I took out the card and looked at it. The fan was actually still lingering on by a wire. I was fiddling around with the fan and then put it in its place, then I heard a click. I couldn't take out the fan anymore. I guess all I had to do was pop it back in. It seems to have a lock mechanism so I don't even know how it got out of place. I assume it can happen again, but I hope not. I should of removed the card and tried that from the start. Thanks for helping tho. I have some epoxy glue now, probably going to sit there for awhile.

Seems the fan fell off again. I had just opened the case and clicked it back in place. I'm just going to have to replace it when I get too annoyed or once the card is fried. I rethought about the whole glue the fan to the shaft, it might not work, because I really can't tell how this fan's spinning mechanism is working. Either option A, the fan is stationary and the shaft is spinning, glue might work here. Option B, the shaft is stationary and the fan is spinning, glue wont work here. Judging from the fan, there looks like a motor or something metal attached to the bottom of the fan, which makes it kind of heavy. I'm assuming the fan mechanism is option B, which means I won't be able to repair it with glue. So now, I'm back to square one. I don't know if I can repair this fan or not. What other options do I have? Replace the whole fan unit? Replace the fan blade?
