GPU fan help?

I am looking into the GT 640 gpu and one is a 2gb gddr3 while the other one is a 1gb gddr3. Performance wise, I am guessing the 2gb would be better but it does not have a built in fan. Is this something I should worry?

It should be fine. That card is not a beastly space heater or anything and the lack of a fan is one less moving part to break/make noise.

I'm not so sure that the 640 has enough power to push 2GB worth of data fast enough for gaming though.

Ok well I am just going to go with the fan. It has a faster core clock and like you said, 1gb isn't a huge difference. I just need something right now that can play medium games since I will be upgrading later.
