Hello people who are smarter than me,

So I have installed a NZXT Kraken G10 cooling bracket together with the Corsair H55 liquid cooling loop onto my GTX 970 (the stock fan was extremely loud and underperforming).

I am getting 37*C temps in peak stress scenarios, however, the fan that was provided does not spin.

The fan was attempted to be connected to 5, 7 and 12v connectors, but to no avail.
The only connector that it could be still connected to is technically the one on the GPU itself. But, there is not enough space to squeeze it into the bracket.

What could be the potential issue other than just a faulty fan? Could it be based on some specific settings?

KR,
Ydoumus.

...however, the fan that was provided does not spin.
Are we talking about the fan that was provided in the NZXT G10 package or your H55 CLC?

As per your product's manual Both the fan and pump should be connected to an available 3 pin fan header on your motherboard. The connector found on your GPU isn't meant to go in tandem with a 3/4 pin motherboard fan header.

You could use this adapter
4-Pin_PWM_Fan_Connector_%28Male%29_to_4-Pin_Mini_GPU_Fan_Connector_%28Female%29__85503_zoom.jpg

for the fan attached to the bracket but it isn't quite sure how effective it'll be for your unit.
