So Mostly when Im gaming (sometimes when im not) my monitor will just all a sudden lost connection to the gpu. I opened the case and everything is running except the gpu. One odd thing is that whenever this happens my bedroom lights will dim for the split second it happens. I just finished building my new computer using all new components except my 5 year old PSU and 2 HDD's
System specs:
Motherboard: 78MT-USB3
GPU:AMD diamond radeon HD 7750
CPU: AMD FX-6300 hexa core ( with aftermarket cooling fan)
PSU: OCZ 520w 12U
HDD's: x2 7200 rpm internal hard drives
RAM: ADATA 4gb x 2 DDR3

Actually just downloaded CPUID HWMointor
+5v: Value= 5.040 Min= 4.590 Max= 5.040
+12v: Value= 10.008 Min= 1.668 Max= 10.008
+3.3: Value= 3.312 =Min= 3.312 Max= 3.312

I am using a 5 year old OCZ 520w 12U PSU.

Hmm. Bios is usually the most reliable reading. But you have problems that could be your power supply. Your power supply isn't very good quality. I'd replace it with a better one per the link I provided. A 7750 only needs 350W eg Seasonic 520, XFGX550 ($50 at Newegg) or Antec HCG 520M

Wow the lights just dimmed but this time my whole PC shut off. The power didnt even go out. Does this confirm its NOT a gpu problem? im about to buy a thermalmake 1050w 80 plus gold cert PSU.

Dont worry ill be sure to get a trusted good brand that other one wasnt a for sure. I just want to make sure if it is exactly the PSU thats the problem here. If my bedroom lights dim and power doesnt even go off and that shuts down my computer would that make it a psu problem?

I think when the lights dim it is just enough to power off the GPU and my current PSU seems to be on its last legs so its tight in the amount of power its pushing out. I was just wondering; is it the gpu that shuts off and dims the bedroom lights or is it the bedroom lights dim and then the gpu
