Hey guys,
currently having an issue undervolting/programming a custom fan curve for my sapphire 7970 ghz with Heaven. I used MSI afterburner to monitor fan speeds (and listened to my gpu fan) and figured out that when I use Heaven, it locks my gpu fan speed at 30%. As soon as I exit the benchmark, my fan speeds kick up because of the custom curve I made with trixx and things get noisy again. Anyone ever had this problem?

One other thing: I've never had any issues with coil whine before, but now that I have started undervolting, I have a little bit in Heaven and a LOT in 3dmark. I don't know about any games, haven't tested yet (and working from my laptop atm).

The only issue is I can't lower voltage with MSI Afterburner like I can with trixx, so my temps will go up. Is there another program that is just for monitoring gpu usage and fan speed but without the OC functionality that Afterburner has? I'd rather keep trixx and uninstall Afterburner.

Afterburner does all them functions, I dont understand why you would have both? Just use one or the other IMO

Maybe you can try with GPU-Z, show you almost all the settings that you need.
