GPU Fan speed won't increase.

So I tend to run my GTX 970 fans at 80% (I use EVGA Precision to monitor) and i realized that while at 80% my fans arent going any higher than 300 rpms. I only have had my gpu for about 5-6 months. How do i fix? Any help would be appreciated.

Try to use the lastest nvidia driver(Clean uninstall the nvidia driver in your pc they install fresh).I heard some old driver had fan speed bug.Also try using msi afterburner to try to set fan speed manually

So i have the latest nvidia driver atm, and i installed afterburner, so far pushing the percentage up is doing nothing.

Hi,

Try using Display Driver Uninstaller and clean uninstall the old driver and install fresh driver again.DDU was designed to completely remove old driver.If this also fails, i suggest to get your card exchanged under warranty as you might have a defective product.
