GPU Fan Speed

I just installed MSI AfterBurner. I have a Asus Strix R7 370 that runs just a bit too hot for my taste while playing witcher 3 ( Approximately 78°C at most with max load) with a mix of medium and high settings. On low/medium settings, I get around 60-71°C. My question is how much rpm can a gpu fan take safely? And what % should I set it around using MSI AfterBurner?

My MSI Afterburner keeps going back to 30% gpu fan speed even though I keep setting it at 45. Any advice?

There should be a little icon that says auto, disable that and also there will be an icon to the right of the fan speed slider with something along the lines of user configuration. This should let you pick your speed and also set a fan curve so if it gets too hot you could ramp up the fan to cool it.

That will depend on you, how loud you want your gpu to be? Play around and see what is good for you, strix coolers tend to be good so I bet you could set the fans quite high without too much noise :)

Nope, now you just have to play around with the fan curve and see what temps you get, although the standard fan setup was probably fine, amd chips can get a little but its all preference, play around with it and see what kind of temps you can get :)

Just started up the Witcher and I'm standing in a tavern still.
My fans dropped back to 30%.... Idk why this is happening
