[SOLVED] GPU Fan speed

I was wondering if increasing the GPU fan speed damages the Graphics Card it self, I currently use MSI afterburner and turned the fan speed to 60%, main reason I did this is to lower the temperature of my GPU, as when I left it on auto it seemed to have pretty high temp.

The GPU itself? No. If anything, keeping it cooler benefits the card (and performance). It may reduce the actual fans lifespan, but there;s a warranty on any given card that'll cover the GPU's fans to do 100% fan speed, 24/7 for the length of the warranty.

It should be fine like anything tech can go bad after a period but thats what warranties are for dont worry and enjoy
