For about a week, my PC has been having this issue where my monitor will go black, no display is even detected, and my GPU fan speeds up to 100%. I can temporarily fix the issue by switching my drivers to either the latest version or a previous version which will work for about a day, then the issue resumes. I've been doing some research on this issue and a lot of threads hint towards it being a physical issue (PSU problem, cables not properly connected, no thermal paste on gpu, etc.) but my thinking is that if this was a physical problem then switching drivers wouldn't fix the issue for a while would it? Any help/thoughts on the situation would be appreciated.
