Question GPU fan stop

I have a question about the fans, if I turn off the fan stop mode (meaning that the fans spin in idle at the lowest possible speed) is it possible the card could get damaged in some way? I have a 4070 Ti and during some rather light games (and these more demanding) the temperature drops and rises again, which casue the fans to constantly turn off and on. The number of these on/off cycles is a lot, especially in RPG games, where simple looking at the quest log or map very often causes this. Obviously when the fans are spinning all the time, the GPU temperature drops. I have read about thermal cycling, but can a temperature increase (not immediately) from 25 to about 55 degrees actually damage the PCB?

the fan's speed is controlled by temperature.

if your idle temps are not dangerous then there is no issue with the fans shutting down.
if they were @ any type of high or dangerous levels then the card wouldn't be ramping RPMs down in the first place.

if you're worried about any affect from the fans spinning up & down regularly turn the option off.
if you notice them shutting down while temperatures are higher than you'd prefer, also turn the option off and set a better manual fan speed curve for the card.

Heat kills the card really nothing else other than normal wear.
I believe the fans should not turn on till like 55C depending on your model.

If I did anything I would probably go the other way MSI afterburner 0 fan 59C 20% 60C and 100% 85C.
