I am from India, this is my specs

core i3 2120 3.30 ghz
MSI gtx 760 2 gb twinfrozr OC
8 gb 1333 mhz ddr 3 ram
toshiba 1 tb HDD
DELL S2240L monitor
antec vp550 v2 PSU
6 cabinet fan
windows 10
it happened again. Today I changed my OS to windows 10 and download the latest nvidia driver 376.33 then I noticed it was all fine the fans are working properly before i changed my driver. last time same thing happened but i didn't notice that. I started playing mafia 3 when my temp reached 91 suddenly then i check my gpu to see the fans stopped spinning again. Is there any slight chance that this driver is making this kind of problems ? because I don't see any other explanations . It happened twice already and fans stopped spinning after I install the driver. please help me
and for the dust, i cleaned it but my GPU was working nicely until i upgrade my os to win 10 and install the latest driver

why I said I try the latest drivers but I seem to ll ways go right back to 355.82 for my card ? also I thought the fan was controlled from the cards bios unless you use a program with a fan profile option to override that .

also I se guys say unless there win-10 install was fully updated there NVidia cards may not work ??

like maybe ?

then my opinion of win-10 is its not a OS but malware in OS clothing

he unless you got another computer to try the card in to se if the behavior remains or maybe the cards fans or the cards fan controller / sensors or just the fam motor ? I had one that would stop spinning or out of the blue spin...
could be ? try another driver and see ? then you got to know between that malware called windows 10 and NVidia has had there struggles and like one guy said ''seems like NVidia brakes more then they fix lately ''

best to read some feed back threads

do the fans work in safe mode ?? can you adjust a manual fan profile ?

with that win 10 your pretty much on your own with it you do as Microsoft wants not as you do like before .. I'd have to hate your guts to even think of recommending it on anything less then skylake then with that your pretty much trapped in to it ..

matter of fact I still use 355.82 for my 900 card and win7 if that tells you anything

I don't see anyone reporting fans stopped working yet ?? seeing how you going to 10 and the issue occurred that's where I would look or find a way to test your card to be sure it just did not fail in some way

Its so weird u know on my previous OS that is win 8.1 i was using driver 368.39 for a long time without any issues but then i wanted to update the driver after 5 months to a latest one then for the first time the fan stopped spinning. And now this is the 2nd time. i think its not the os but the new drivers that are made for new 900 and 10 series gpus that causing this problem. u tell me it was all working good till yesterday and suddenly after i upgrade my os and driver the same thing started again.

he unless you got another computer to try the card in to se if the behavior remains or maybe the cards fans or the cards fan controller / sensors or just the fam motor ? I had one that would stop spinning or out of the blue spin up full blast just crazy after fooling with it I took a fan out of a old gpu I had and plugged it in and it worked fine with out issue as normal , so it had nothing to do with the card but just the fan its self went bad and a new / different fan worked . so with that there was nothing wrong with the card or anything but just the fan or the fans motor on it went bad . replaced the fan alls good
