Things i have tried and didn't work:
1. Taking the CMOS battery out
2. disabling Intel HD Graphics 4600
3. Changing the primary graphics to PCI
4. Display Driver Uninstaller
5. A different PCI slot
The fans and lights work on the GPU when the GPU is installed into the motherboard but when i connect the HDMI cable to it i get 'no signal' on my monitor. When i take the GPU out and use the onboard graphics and connect the HDMI cable to the onboard graphics my PC comes on works like normal.
If i boot with onboard graphics and keep the GPU in with the HDMI cable connected to the onboard graphics and check windows device manager it says the card is working properly and detects it.
My Computer:
MSI Hawk R9 270x
Intel i5 4690k
AsRock z97 Extreme 6
Ocz Z5 550W
Two 4GB HyperX RAMs
