Hi,
I was trying to change the cooler on my gainward gtx 760, the fan on the new cooler had 3 fan instead of 4, but i replaced it anyway. I plugged the card back into my computer but the system didn't turn on. I decided to switch back to the original cooler, thinking that the fan cable was the problem.
Now the system did turn on, but the gpu has no signal and the fan is at full speed.

I did some troubleshooting, these are my conclusion:
  • The card behave the same way on another pc;
  • If i plug one of the 2 6pins connector into the left 6pins connector the fan start to go full speed, if i plug one of them into the right one fan speed is fine (but it shows on screen that i need to plug the pcie power cable.
Any suggestion is highly appreciated. Thanks.

I meant that i might know that one of the two plugs may be the cause. The problem also happens with both of them plugged.
