Question Gpu fans not choking

So I am planning on getting a second gpu but before I do, I was wondering how much space do you need in between 2 gpus so the fans do not choke.

Which GPU are you planning to buy ? What's the make and model number of your Motherboard ? Are you going for an SLI or a CrossfireX setup ?

Depending on how many PCI-Express slots your mobo has, you can insert the second GPU on the last compatible PCI-e slot, furthest away from the primary SLOT that is.

But first specify your needs, and provide full PC specs.

My motherboard has 3 pcie slots. (Gigabyte z370p D3 motherboard) and I have the first slot occupies by a 1060 and I plan to get a 1070ti. I am not going for sli nor a crossfire setup. And I want to make sure my gpu fans will not choke if I get this setup.
